Fatemeh Eghbal is an artist and researcher who, in addition to her professional activity in the animation industry as a Director, Animator, 2D Artist, Illustrator, and Visual Development Artist, is interested in the interdisciplinary fields of programming, engineering, design, and art. After completing her studies in software engineering, she began to study the principles of drawing and painting, given her lifelong interest in creating artwork.

Her interest in creating a bridge between the creation of artwork and her background in science, programming, and the fields of technology dates back to when, after learning the principles of drawing and painting, she became interested in studying perspective. Practicing and studying perspectives from the simplest to advanced techniques in this field led her to explore this field. Gradually, she realized that, given the differences in her internal and mental structure acquired during different educational and intellectual paths, her works did not belong to any of the conventional realms of her background. After studying and designing an immersive environment with non-classical perspective techniques in one of her projects, she realized the various applications of immersive design in designing augmented and interactive reality systems. Such nonlinear and interdisciplinary approaches, among her past experiences and current fields of study and practice, prompted her to expand her studies to the interdisciplinary realm between art and technology.
